Hundreds of cheering Indonesian supporters gathered outside Kuala Lumpur’s Bukit Jalil Stadium on Sunday, hours before the team’s first of two matches with Malaysia for the AFF Cup.
“Garuda on my chest, Garuda is my pride. Indonesia will surely win. Indonesia, Indonesia,” supporters sang continuously as quoted by kompas.com.
More than 15,000 Indonesians, including Indonesians living in Malaysia and those visiting for the AFF Cup showdown, are expected to watch the match on Sunday night.
