إندونيسيا مستعدة لبحث الخلافات الحدودية مع ماليزيا

جاكارتا: أعربت الحكومة الإندونيسية عن جاهزيتها لبحث الخلافات الحدودية البحرية مع ماليزيا في محاورها الخمسة وذلك بعاصمة ولاية صباح "كوتا كينابالو".
والمحاور الخمسة المطروحة على طاولة المفاوضات هي مضيق ملاكا ومضيق جنوب ملاكا ومضيق سنغافورة ومضيق سولا ويسي وبحر جنوب الصين.
وبهذا الصدد قال وزير الخارجية الإندونيسي الدكتور مارتي ناتليغاوا " أعددنا كل شيء ضروري وطرحنا الأجندة على الحكومة الماليزية لتنظيم مؤتمر وزاري مشترك يشمل أيضا بحث العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين".
وأوضح الوزير أن بلاده عازمة وملتزمة بتسريع المباحثات التي تشمل القضايا الحدودية الخلافية لتفادي الحوادث التي من شأنها تعكير العلاقات بين الطرفين في المستقبل.
وأضاف قائلا "سنطلب تحديد أجل عاجل لعقد مثل هذه المباحثات، الحادث الذي وقع في المياه المتنازع عليها يوم 13 آب/أغسطس يعكس مدى أهمية الانخراط في حل المشاكل الحدودية".
وكان الحادث قد أسفر عن نشوب توتر في العلاقات بين البلدين الجارين عندما اعتقلت السلطات الإندونيسية 7 صيادين ماليزيين، وردت البحرية الماليزية باحتجاز 3 ضباط من القوات الإندونيسية . وعلى الرغم من الإفراج عن المعتقلين من الطرفين، إلا أن التوتر مازال يسود العلاقات بينهما.

المظاهرات توفر مصدر دخل للشباب العاطل بجاكرتا

جاكرتا/ 1 سبتمبر //برناما//-- أصبح تموين المتظاهرين بالعاصمة الإندونيسية تجارة استثنائية توفر للشباب العاطل دخلا ماليا، وفي نفس الوقت تكسبه معرفة بكيفية التظاهر بطريقة منظمة0
وبات يتعين على كل جماعة تنشد تظاهر المواطنين أن تطلب حزمة كاملة، تشمل متظاهرين مدربين، ووسائل نقل، ومكبرات الصوت وحواجز وبيانات المظاهرات0
وتحتسب كلفة المظاهرات التي تشرف عليها منظمات معينة بإندونيسيا بناء على عدد الحافلات، إذ تبلغ قيمة حافلة تحمل ما بين 30 و35 شخصا حوالي 522 إلى 696 رنغيت ماليزي0
في حين يتقاضى كل مشارك في مظاهرة واحدة ما بين 10.45 و13.90 رنغيت، مع وجبة أكل معبأة0
وحسب أحد الفاعلين في هذا المجال، فإن المشاركين في المظاهرات شباب يعانون غالبا من البطالة، ينادى عليهم لتدريبهم وتلقينهم الغرض من المظاهرة حتى يتسنى لهم الإجابة إذا ما سئلوا من طرف آخرين0
وأضاف أن منظمته تتوفر على منخرطين من كل مناطق وقرى مقاطعة جاكارتا، يتم تجميعهم كلما دعت الحاجة لتنظيم مظاهرة وفق نظام الحزمة الشاملة0
ولفت إلى أن متظاهري منظمته مدربون حول كيفية تدبر حالات الفوضى، لكنهم يتحملون مخاطر الاعتقال بأنفسهم، وقد سبق لبعضهم أن سجن0//وكالة الأنباء الوطنية الماليزية- برناما// خ.أ

ماليزيا لم تصدر بعد تحذيراً بشأن السفر إلى إندونيسيا

بوتراجايا/ في 1 سبتمبر / أيلول //برناما//-- لم تقرر الحكومة الماليزية بعد إصدار تحذير بشأن السفر إلى إندونيسيا رغم آخر حادثة مضادة لماليزيا فيها حيث ألقي سكن مهندس ماليزي في كاليمنتان بالحجارات خلال الأسبوع الماضي0
وقال رئيس الوزراء السيد نجيب عبد الرزاق إنه سوف يتباحث مع وزارة الخارجية أولاً قبل إصدار تحذير مماثل معتبراً أنه أمر بالغ الخطورة يهم مصالح البلدين0
واستدرك قائلاً //لدينا مصالح كثيرة... حكومة، تجارة وعلاقة صداقة مع إندونيسيا// وأضاف //لن نصدر مثل هذا التحذير إلا إذا زاد الوضع سوءاً//0
وكان في حادثة /كيتابنغ/ في كاليمنتان الغربية بإندونيسيا، قام خمسة أشخاص بإلقاء الحجارات على سكن مهندس ماليزي في حملة سموها "غانيانغ ماليزيا" (محاربة ماليزيا)0
وقد سبق أن قام متظاهرون إندونيسيون في جاكرتا عاصمة البلاد بإلقاء مخلفات بشرية على جدرانالسفارة الماليزية وإحراق علم ماليزيا0//وكالة الأنباء الوطنية الماليزية – برناما//س.خ

Najib to Indonesia: Act fast on demos or incur wrath

PEKAN: Indonesian authorities should act fast to quell demonstrations in their country or risk incurring the wrath of Malaysians, warned Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
In refuting the perception that Malaysia was taking a “soft” stance in handling the issue, Najib said yesterday if the situation persisted, it could lead to Malaysians retaliating in anger.
“I hope the Indonesian authorities will not allow the demonstration by their citizens – paid for by certain quarters – to create unrest.
“We can give an assurance that the situation in Malaysia will be under control. But most importantly, it should not lead to a situation in which the bilateral ties of both countries are jeopardised.
“Malaysians must remain calm and not react to any provocation,” he told reporters after presenting yearly dividends to Risda smallholders.
A total of 43,990 smallholders including the orang asli community from the integrated replanting and commercial replanting schemes nationwide received dividends totalling RM110.15mil.
Najib, who is also Pekan MP, said Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono had sent him a letter but he had yet to read its contents.
“I believe the Indonesian president is expressing his disappointment over the situation and that the demonstration should not be linked to the Indonesian government.
“The Indonesian government is aware that two million of its citizens are working in Malaysia and there are huge investments by Malaysian firms ,” he said.
Najib said both countries had mutual interests and should not allow the situation to disrupt bilateral ties.
He added that so far, Malaysia had no plans to issue a travel advisory for Malaysians against visiting Indo­nesia.
On a separate matter, Najib said not all citizens would respect the country’s laws, which was why there were murderers and robbers in society.
He added that action would be taken against those who broke the law and the courts would mete out the rightful punishment.
Meanwhile, Najib announced that rubber smallholders would receive higher financial assistance to help them in their replanting schemes from Sept 1.
He said the present aid of RM7,000 to smallholders in peninsular Malaysia would be increased to RM9,230 over the next five years.
Smallholders in Sabah and Sarawak would receive RM14,000 and RM13,500, respectively.

RI-Malaysia migrant worker talks stall on passport issue

Migrant worker negotiations between Indonesia and Malaysia have deadlocked after Kuala Lumpur proposed that employers keep the passports of Indonesian maids.

“Malaysia wants Malaysian employers to be allowed to retain the passports of Indonesian workers despite the fact that both Indonesia and Malaysia previously agreed that the workers will have the right to retaining their passports,” a source who is close to the matter told The Jakarta Post on Wednesday.

The source, who declined to be named, said that Malaysia wanted to “hide” behind the rules and retain the right to hold the passports, adding the issue had forced both sides to agree to disagree for now.

Both governments had agreed that Malaysian employers would bear 70 percent of the total cost of employing and placing Indonesian maids in Malaysia, while the workers would cover the remainder, said the source.

Malaysian Ambassador Dato’ Syed Munshe Afdzaruddin said the negotiations had been progressing and that there was no deadlock.

Indonesia and Malaysia previously signed a letter of intent (LoI) on Indonesian workers on May 18 after Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak met with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono during Yudhoyono’s two-day visit to Kuala Lumpur.

Under the LoI, Malaysian employers must allow more than 2 million Indonesian employees to hold their passports and allow the employees one day off a week.

Two outstanding issues remain under negotiation: Setting a minimum wage and a cost structure for recruiting and placing of migrant workers.

Indonesian Foreign Ministry spokesman Teuku Faizasyah said he did not know the details of the negotiations, but “it would be hard for us to accept something different from the spirit of the LoI”.

“It is logically unacceptable to make a new decision that is less than what has been agreed to by the ministers,” he told the Post.

Indonesian Manpower and Transmigration Ministry representative Roostiawati said there was “no deadlock”.

Roostiawati, who is in charge of the ministry’s placement program for overseas workers, said it was impossible for Indonesia and Malaysia to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on domestic employees by the end of this month after the delays.

She also said the Indonesian government had warned the Malaysian government to stick to the terms of the previously signed LoI.

Roostiawati said both sides had agreed that the cost of the employing and placing Indonesian maids would be lower than the current market rate, while refusing to name that number or the portion that would be covered by personally by Malaysian employers or Indonesian maids.
Malaysian Home Ministry deputy secretary-general Datuk Raja Azahar Raja Abdul Manap said that the cost would be lower than the RM8,000 (US$2,547) to RM9,000 which employers now paid, but higher than the RM4,000 fixed in the 2006 MoU, as quoted by Malaysian news agency Bernama
